About Lakecrest

Since 1993, Lakecrest has been providing students with an exceptional education, instilling a love of learning, the ability to think independently, and the confidence to reach their goals.

We offer small class sizes with one on one attention, and a safe and nurturing environment. Our thorough, well-planned kindergarten program is coupled with French instruction and a variety of other activities including music, art and sports.

Our caring faculty and staff work with parents to form a close knit community in support all our students.

The student population is approx 145 students with an average class size of fourteen.

Approximately one quarter of our families have come to St.John's from different locations in the international oil industry including the United States, England, Scotland and Norway, among others. A significant portion of our students are from families in medical profession hailing from parts of the globe as India, Britain and Egypt, creating a rich and diverse community from which has risen a vibrant school culture with a focus on learning and and international enthusiasm.

Lakecrest is governed by a Board of Directors elected from among the parents of the school and interested community members. The Head of School as well as the Home and School Association have status on the Board.
