An Information Technology Plan guides the use of technology at Lakecrest.
Starting in kindergarten students are expected to achieve grade-level outcomes for the use of technology as a tool for learning. Student access is achieved by the provision of tablets, and laptops in classrooms. Students in the junior high section also use laptops for access to e-books and other e-learning resources. All classrooms at Lakecrest are equipped with interactive whiteboards for use by students and teachers.
Students use programs to learn basic coding skills through interactive games during their primary years and evolve to more complex coding, computer assembly, robotics, and website development in high school.
