Lakecrest Continuity of Learning Overview
Message from the Head of School
Dear Members of the Lakecrest Community,
In preparation for the upcoming school year, we have been actively working with our Task Force Committees, as well as other Lakecrest Committees, to ensure a smooth and safe opening in September. Below is a brief overview of some things to expect with regards to next year. The health and safety of our staff and students is our number one priority, and parents should expect some modifications to school facilities and/or procedures in order to prepare for Lakecrest to receive students in September.
While the situation will likely remain fluid throughout the summer, we are fully committed to providing the same high-quality and international IB education that our community has come to expect from Lakecrest. We will also strive to be accommodating to all of our students, including families which may not be comfortable with face-to-face instruction and prefer to continue remote learning. Similarly, there may be students who need to self-isolate during next year, and our planning will ensure a smooth transition from face-to-face learning to remote learning for anyone in this situation.
Lakecrest will continue to monitor the situation and update the community accordingly, but rest assured that we are active in our planning and preparations, and look forward to welcoming students in September to continue their learning at our great school.
Mr. Patrick Boekhoud | Head of School
