Lakecrest Independent School – Parent Newsletter
May 28, 2017
The Little Mermaid Jr. Congratulations
Lakecrest students have done it again! From the Lion King, to the Little Mermaid this past week. Our wonderful students demonstrated their talent in so many ways, from set design, stage management, acting, dancing and singing. Without a doubt, they showed the best of themselves in these activities.
The students, parents and teachers who supported The Little Mermaid musical are thanked for their dedication to this event. Preparations from parents who helped with set design, costumes, program and sales and marketing have of course helped to make this production a special contribution to Lakecrest.
Special thanks to Ms. Warren for her direction and dedication to the students and Lakecrest. It is her creativity and work, and our students which make this possible. Thanks to Ms. Warren for another fantastic musical for Laskecrest.
Such productions including the advertising, radio interviews and general community buzz, continue to expand the “presence” of Lakecrest in our local community. These public activities thus provide potential for ongoing development of the whole school and into the future.
