Bursary Program Bursary Program Lakecrest offers an annual bursary program to assist some parents with the cost of tuition. Each year the Board of Directors approve a limited number of a bursaries. Bursaries are handled with the strictest confidentiality. Only the Bursary Committee members know who has received a Bursary and what the amount has been. Even Board Members are not privy to that information. Parents can apply by obtaining the necessary forms from the School Office. The Christine Mousseau Bursary Program Lakecrest has lost a wonderful teacher and a dear friend, Ms. Christine Mousseau. Her family has indicated that those wishing to make donations may direct donations in her memory to the Lakecrest Independent School Bursary Fund, Ms. Mousseau's husband, Rick, spoke about how she loved teaching at Lakecrest and what a wonderful school it was for children. He said that she often spoke about how it was unfortunate that some children didn't have the opportunity to attend Lakecrest due to financial constraints. Thus, her family suggested that donations be made in her memory to a bursary fund to assist families with the cost of tuition to enable them the opportunity to attend Lakecrest.
