Faculty and Staff Faculty and Staff Lakecrest prides itself on the dedicated teachers and support staff who deliver the international caliber education for which we have become known. All our teachers hold Teaching Certificates issued by the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education. A number have earned a Master's Degree and all are engaged in on-going professional development. The Faculty of Lakecrest consists of twelve teachers. All members of the faculty hold Teaching Certification graded by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. The majority of our teachers originate from Newfoundland and Labrador and a number of them have international teaching experience. While their teaching backgrounds are quite diverse, there is a consistency in their high expectations and thorough professionalism in the classroom. We are proud to assure parents that no matter what class their child is in, he or she will have a strong teacher which will allow the opportunity for each student to perform to the fullest of his or her abilities.
