The Board of Directors
The Board of Directors has the important task of
developing policy for the school and of ensuring that the goals of the
students are being reached. The primary goal of the school is of
course the delivery of a world-class education to our students. We
have been fortunate throughout the history of Lakecrest to be able to
say with certainty that the students here receive an excellent
learning experience.
It has been my pleasure and privilege to serve
as Chair of the Lakecrest Board of Directors for four years. I see
myself as being part of a long line of Board Chairs, beginning with
Mr. Doug Black, the Founding Chair, who have worked to maintain
excellent standards in an inviting learning environment. We owe a
great debt of gratitude to all those who have served in so many ways
to make the school what it is. The leadership provided by Mr. Black
and, following him, Dr. Jeremy Pridham, Mr. Fred Cahill, and Mr. Bill
Morrissey has been a vital ingredient in our success - Brendan Murphy - Past Chair
