Lakecrest Re-Entry Plan: 2021-22 School Year
Seeking a safe and productive 2021-2022 school year, the staff at Lakecrest have released our 2021-2022 school re-entry plan. Head of School, Mr. Boekhoud, worked closely with the medical professionals of our Medical Task Force, to create a re-entry plan that sets out a detailed and cautious approach to the upcoming school year.
We’ve taken this approach because our small school size and classes give us the flexibility to create a plan follows the latest medical science and best practices from a variety of provincial plans. This way we can strive to ensure valuable in-person learning has the best chance of continuing this school year.
The plan is outlined in a handy frequently asked questions document that is inserted below. Questions include:
- Will masks still be required?
- Will students stay cohorted?
- Will parents and visitors be allowed into the school next year?
- Will Lakecrest go remote again if there’s another outbreak in our area?
Please take some time to read and familiarize yourself with the Lakecrest Re-Entry FAQ: 2021-2022.
