Looking For Library Volunteers!!!

Dear Lakecrest Parents;
This will be a very exciting year for our Lakecrest Library! Thanks to your generous donations at last year’s auction, the library is getting a major makeover to make it a more modern, useable space for your children. Plans and quotes have been received and we expect work to begin soon.
With that in mind, I am looking not only for volunteers to help with the usual shelving and cataloguing of books, but I also need some help with packing away books and restocking after renovating is done. None of these jobs is difficult, just thirty minutes or an hour of your time each week will make a big difference. It is a lovely atmosphere to work in and can be done while you wait for your child before long lunch or at the end of the day. There is a lot of flexibility around when you can volunteer.
If you feel that you are able to offer help this year, no matter how small, it would be much appreciated and you would be helping create a wonderful new learning space for your child. Please contact me at my email address sreidpaul@lakecrest.ca if you would like to offer your time.
Kind regards,
Sherry Reid-Paul
Library Coordinator
